About

I’m a senior full-stack software engineer in Glasgow with over a decade of building and running customer-facing digital products. These days I lead the engineering behind STV News’ website, mobile apps and the services that support them, across frontend, backend, integrations, cloud infrastructure and keeping it all running in production.

Most of my work is PHP, WordPress, Laravel and JavaScript, with plenty of APIs and AWS. I like owning things end to end, and working closely with technical and non-technical teams to turn what they need into software that holds up.
